FAQs
-
Can I get tickets on the gate?
Tickets will be available on the gate and online while the festival is open if the festival has not sold out. We highly recommend purchasing tickets online in advance to avoid missing out. Please note that buying tickets in advance is also cheaper than buying them on the gate or online once the festival has opened.
Does a festival ticket include camping?
No, you will need to purchase a separate camping ticket. This costs £10 per tent or £30 for a motor camping ticket - which is for a campervan, caravan, trailer tent, van with a mattress or any other vehicle used for sleeping. You only need one ticket per tent or per vehicle, and you can have up to six people per tent or per vehicle.
Does a camping ticket include entry to the festival?
No, you will need to purchase a separate festival entry ticket.
Do I need to print tickets?
Not at all. Simply show your ticket on your phone on the gate.
I can’t find the email with my ticket - what do I do?
Go to https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/help#contact-eo and enter your email address to get your ticket resent to you. If this doesn’t work please email info@devaudenfestival.com with details of the name and email address used when purchasing the ticket and approximately when it was purchased.
Do children need tickets?
Children 5 years old and under can enter the festival for free and you do not need to get a ticket for them – they must be accompanied by a responsible person in order to enter. Those aged between 6 and 17 years inclusive need an under 18 ticket. Also, don’t forget it may be cheaper for a family to buy a family ticket which covers two adults and two children aged between 6 and 17 years for the price of two adults and one child – in effect one child goes free. So we can keep a track on the number of attendees, everyone including children under 6 must wear a wristband. We recommend you write a contact number on younger children’s wristbands in case they get separated from you.
Do you offer free tickets for personal assistants or carers?
Yes, we offer a free ticket to a personal assistant/carer. Please apply in advance for a carer ticket.
The person needing a personal assistant/carer should purchase a ticket online as normal and then email info@devaudenfestival.com to request a free carer ticket with details of the ticket they have purchased and a scan or photo of proof of entitlement to a carer ticket such as a hynt card or Nimbus Access card with a +1 symbol. We will then email a carer ticket to the person who made the request.Do you offer reduced price tickets?
Yes, we discount tickets bought online in advance of the festival. The earlier you buy, the cheaper the price. We also offer free entry for personal assistants/carers (please see above), a family ticket that allows two adults and two children aged 6 to 17 to get in more cheaply than buying individual tickets, and children under the age of 6 enter for free.
You can also volunteer at the festival and get a free weekend ticket – email volunteers@devaudenfestival.com to learn how to apply.
The most expensive way to buy a ticket is on the gate or online on the day of the festival. Ticket numbers are limited and we may run out, so we strongly recommend you buy online in advance.
Can I get a free ticket by volunteering at the festival?
Yes, you can and we’d love to hear from you if you want to volunteer. Please contact volunteers@devaudenfestival.com. Don’t worry if you have already bought a ticket – we will be happy to refund it if you help at the festival.
If you are a member of a society, group or team and would like to apply to volunteer as a team we would be delighted. As well as getting the benefits of being volunteers, we would be happy to make a donation to the society/group/team and/or provide extra tickets for families and friends.
We’re also interested in hearing from people who want to take a bigger role in organising and managing the festival. We are a friendly team of volunteers with a passion for creating an outstanding attendee and artist experience at the festival and giving back to our local community. Such roles typically require a few hours a week, and sometimes more in the run up to the festival. Please contact info@devaudenfestival.com if you would like an informal discussion about this.

Late May is regularly dry and warm. Over a period of 14 years, we’ve had two festivals where it has rained. Even if it rains, we have plenty of coverage, with a big top in the main field and various yurts and marquees throughout the site.
The festival site is largely flat and the ground mainly stays firm in wet weather. However, if it does rain or the ground is wet, please drive slowly, avoid harsh braking and avoid reversing. If necessary we will assist vehicles to get out of the site.
Please be prepared to bring waterproof clothing and footwear such as wellies, particularly if rain is forecast or it has rained in the runup to the festival.
