Devauden Festival 2026

Essential Information

Getting to the festival

The festival entrance for both pedestrians and vehicles is on The Craig Road. Please follow signs for Devauden Festival as you approach the site.

Please do not follow your satnav near the festival, as this is likely to direct you onto narrow local roads unsuitable for festival traffic. In particular, please do not attempt to access the site directly from the A466 - instead travel via Monmouth or Chepstow and follow the B4293.

Most visitors should approach via the A40/A449 towards Monmouth and follow signs from the B4293. Visitors travelling from Chepstow should follow the B4293 north.

There is no festival access from the A466/Wye Valley direction.

Car parking and campsite

The campsite opens at 10am on Friday 22 May and closes at 12pm on Monday 25 May.

Car parking is chargeable. One parking ticket covers the whole weekend, including re-entry. Please purchase your parking ticket in advance where possible.

Blue Badge holders should bring their badge to access the accessible parking area near the entrance. A parking ticket is still required.

Please follow marshals’ instructions to help keep the site safe.

For your safety, please use the pedestrian routes marked with festoon lighting when travelling between the campsite and festival areas.

Only assistance dogs are permitted on the festival site and campsite. You may be asked for evidence that your dog is an assistance animal.

Fresh water

Fresh water taps are available across both the campsite and festival site, all clearly signposted.

We do not sell bottled water at the festival, so please bring a reusable water bottle.

Toilets, showers and baby changing

Toilets, including accessible facilities and baby changing facilities, are available across both the campsite and festival site.

Hot showers are available on the campsite.

Please help us keep the facilities clean for everyone:

  • only flush toilet paper

  • do not dispose of nappies or sanitary products in toilets

Baby feeding and changing facilities are also available at The Little Hygge Caravan in The Wonder Burrow.

First aid and security

First aid facilities are available near the campsite entrance during festival opening hours.

Our professional security team patrols the campsite throughout the weekend.

Signs around the campsite display emergency contact details for security assistance.

If you need non-emergency help, please speak to a festival marshal wearing a blue high-visibility vest.

Challenge 25 operates at all bars, so please bring photo ID if required.

Under-18s may not purchase or consume alcohol.

Festival rules

Please do not bring:

  • glass into the festival arena

  • weapons

  • illegal drugs

  • alcohol purchased elsewhere

Security searches may take place at the festival entrance.

You may bring your own drinks and glass items into the campsite from home, but alcohol bought at festival bars cannot be taken back into the campsite.

Open fires are not permitted anywhere on site.

Barbecues and camping stoves are allowed if kept off the ground and supervised at all times.

Please respect other campers and keep noise to a minimum overnight.

Families and wellbeing

Parents and guardians remain responsible for children and vulnerable adults at all times.

If someone becomes separated from your group, please speak to a steward in a high-visibility vest or go to The Hub near the main entrance.

Food, drink and facilities

Food traders will be serving throughout the weekend, including breakfasts each morning, with options for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans.

The festival shop near the entrance sells everyday essentials and provides phone charging. Feminine hygiene products are available at The Little Hygge Caravan within the Wonder Burrow.

Most traders, bars and the ticket desk accept card payments.

The nearest petrol station is the Shell / Budgens Garage in Monmouth (NP25 5EZ).

Please help us recycle

We’re proud of the festival’s strong recycling record and ask everyone to use the clearly marked recycling and waste bins around the site.

Please separate waste into the correct bins where possible, including:

  • cardboard and paper

  • food waste

  • plastics

  • glass

  • cans and metal

  • non-recyclable waste

If bins are becoming full, please let a recycling volunteer know or visit the recycling area near the main entrance.

Please use the cigarette and vape disposal bins provided around the site.

Thank you for helping our volunteer team keep the festival clean and environmentally friendly.
